Emily's 5th grade class "The 100 Mile Club" Her class mates ran 100 + miles this school year.

Emily's school class for 5th grade took a challenge from our city councilman Mark Peterson, it was called the 100 Mile Club. They each throughout this school year ran 100+miles. Emily did 102 but would have had many more but couldn't run for 4 weeks while she had her cast on( silly safety issue at school, come on it was on her wrist...) They were honored at the City Council Meeting & were on t.v. as it is televised live, cool. They also will appear in the paper next Thurs. Pretty Cool! Her teacher this year Mr. Adkins was fabulous! He had so many extra things they got to participate in, what a great teacher!
