SOLD!!!

It's a done deal baby, our home in Concord has SOLD!! This has been a crazy couple of months in the Gatchell house. We are saddened to be finishing the first 11 chapters of our life's story here in our house on Hale Dr. But then again looking forward to starting the next 11++++many more chapters in the Gatchell Family Story.
We know that whatever, wherever we end up we will be together & that is all that matters.

Here are our tentantive plans for the near future. We will be taking over my parents house, yes the house I grew up in. They will be moving into the apartment above the garage. However we are not sure how long we will be calling this "home" My parents are kicking the idea around of putting their home on the market. Us selling our home is the first step to making the "big" dream a reality. The " big move" as we call it, is a major family migration to what is winning the votes currently the Boise Idaho area. This of course will be the biggest undertaking in the history of mankind.... well you know. It is however the biggest news for our family so far.

That is all on the back burner, as for now we are just trying to get through the next week. We turn over the keys to the next family that will call this house their home on the 19th of this month. Yes moving very quickly, too quickly. But just like a band aid, quick is the trick. No time to second guess the decisions that have already be made. Pressing onward ever onward, moving forward ever forward.... this is what we are doing. Change is a good thing right??? :) On the way plus side, what a great opportunity to purge all my "crap". Man I am thinking where the heck did I put all this stuff all these years. I am feeling good about the piles of things that are not making the cut to continue on with us. Feels good...

So this is the that- that is going on with the Gatchell's. Wish us happy packing & patience for the upcoming days.
