Checking out Idaho 11-08

Well this is our trip to check out Idaho. We went in Nov. right before Thanksgiving. It was COLD!!! But the locals said they were having record cold weather that week. WHY?? When we are there does this happen? They said we brought it with us, hello from CA.??? NOT! Anyways it was neat to be able to check it. They have some beautiful country. But not too different then here. I mean yes it is colder there, & yes not as much BIG CITY life. But all in all not a whole lot different then here, I think. We got to check out my parents new house which is really nice. We got to go to church in their new ward. Which was different, smaller & they just don't sing like we do, Thank you Bro. Aguilar! Then we went to the zoo, drove around down town Boise, went to Money Pit ( BOON DOCKS) ate dinner @ some of the best most yummiest places,& drove all over town. Oh we also ate at Sonic, which we have always wanted to do. We see commercials bc we have Direct T.V. for them all the time, but we don't have any near us. So we found one & MAN oh MAN I think it's a blessing that we don't have one here. WAY BETTER THEN IN & OUT. SO SO SO GOOD. I am hoping that by the time we move there it will go out of business for my butts sake. Then we swam alot in the indoor pool, something about swimming inside when it's snowing outside, too cool! We saw a movie at the IMAXX, they have an insanely awesome movie theatre with this big like indoor food court play area, amusement thing there in Boise I think or maybe it was Meridian. Anyways very cool. Also a really cool, great, very bad thing, they let you put your OWN BUTTER on your popcorn. YEP so you don't feel like a fat butter loving freak when you say YES IN THE MIDDLE PLEASE & LOTS OF IT.
The drive was long, but it wasn't horrible. We had a great time & were glad to share this trip with Grandpa & Grandma! We can't wait to be there with you guys!

Boise Temple- so BEAUTIFUL!!

This is ZOO BOISE, a cute little zoo, not too big not to small. It was a lot of fun. Cute little spider monkey!! Ferocious beast! This is what happens when you let kids drive!

Em & Amanda with a giraffe. Ahh the sun! Me & Kev Kyle was so excited to find the place he was "HATCHED" in. This is what Emily says the babies living in this egg would be doing. Again Kyle totally at home! Em & Kyle, man my kids are picture happy! Cool tiger! This is Kyle & his loot from Boon Docks, other wise known as MONEY PIT!! Emily with her loot ( a.k.a. $25.00 in game tokens ) Kev & Amanda, THE BATTLE BEGINS! Kev won in the end. Emily playing Deal or No Deal. This is one of family shows we watch. Emily playing that bowling-ish game, that I can not remember the name of... Amanda & Kyle playing the Jurassic Dino killing game.Of course Kyle only killed the meat eaters. Yes I believe Kev spent about $30.00 bucks here. He got a TON of tickets that then were turned in for about $6.00 in lame prizes most of which didn't even make it home. Emily & Kyle right before the got 86'd out of the kiddie zone. Amanda & Grandpa playing a race car game. My dad's face cracks me up. He is such a big kid! Grandma having a HOT COCOA break. This is the view of the moutains from our hotel window.Much of the time it was so foggy we couldn't even see them. We brought with us a major cold spell. We always do that... darn us! WOW this is one bored kid on a road trip. Please note the set of toes beside her head? Hmm Kyle I presume. THIS yea not the best move if you are going for the Safe Parenting Award. But hey we thought it was funny to take a pic in the middle of the highway. Kyle was too cold to get out of the car, or he couldn't find his shoes or something like that. It's a cool pic though.
