The Gatchell Family getting a back massage courtesy of the waterfall. I love this spot in the pool, it's cool to chill there while the water hits your back. LOVE IT!
So this 4th of July started in the a.m. with a bike ride to the church for the 4th of July pancake breakfast. It was fun, the food was really good, and they had this awesome display in the foyer of all the women & men that served our country. My dad had a bunch of his very cool Navy stuff there. I love my dad & how proud he is to be an American & how grateful he is to have had the chance to serve his country. Then we rode home did some packing for our camping trip that was coming in a few days. Later in the day our family all got together for a BBQ & Swim spectacular. We had yummy food, of course ( what Flud Family event is an event without yummy grub!!!) We swam, played, hung out, and just really enjoyed spending the day together. Once it got dark we packed up & heading off to the school field for fire works. Blankets in hand we were ready for the show. The little kids had a blast running amuck waiting for the the sparks to start. Then all of a sudden when the first POP went off they all were sitting & just staring in amazment. It was so awesome to be there together all of us. I can't remember the last time we spent fireworks together. IT WAS SO FABULOUS!! I love my family, & I love this great country. I am certainly blessed to be a part of both. Happy 4th everyone!!! God Bless the USA!!!
