Deanna brought this craft project up, the kids went on a nature hike to collect things for their plaques. Feathers, tree bark, moss, leaves, so cool.
Look at those creative juices flowing.
Grandma Nancy (this is Krissy's mom in law) always brings home made playdough. The kids get to mix their own colors & make whatever they want.
Then they wait for it to dry & get to keep their masterpieces!

Who doesn't love a nice friendly game of Battleship... yea real friendly, let me blow your air craft carrier out of the water THANK YOU VERY MUCH! Nothing friendly about this game folks. ( I also was beat at this game by Kevin, I was not happy!!)

We also have Grandma's electric chair races, Waylon loved this, he was a winner everytime!

Said Kids "loving the mud" they played in this stuff all week, GROSS, but they didn't think so.
This is the view of the lake from our campsite. The water is so warm here, the downside is the muddy shallow end. The kids never complain... they love the mud!
This is Hotel Gatchell as our tent has been dubbed, it doesn't even look as huge in the photo as it really is. But we are are not a small family, we are only 5, but we are a big 5.
What a splendid fire!! Nothing compares to a camping fire!!!
So this is our Family Camping trip, we take it every year. We really like this place, this is the group site, which we love. We get our own beach front, our own dock, our own bathroom, our own bbq & our own fire pit. SWEET! We love to get together especially out in the wild great outdoors. It's a time always filled with special memories & a really good time. From the campfire singing, to the yummy marshmallow roasting, to camping donuts YUMMY, and the lounging by the lake. As long as we are together, it's all good!!! Until next year!!!
