This years YW Basketball season was pretty cool. Two reasons: 1st Our ward took the CHAMPIONSHIP for the second year in a row... WAY TO GO GIRLS!!! 2nd bc this year was the only year that Amanda & Emily got to play together. Emily is a Beehive & Amanda is a Laurel. So it was really cool to watch them play together. They play very well, kind of a sisterly insyncness. With both of them having a strong basketball background it was great to see. One of the games there were 22 points scored 18 of them from Amanda & 2 from Emily. Amanda is so tall she just hangs out around the basket & waits for the ball & it just goes in, plus she's a great rebounder. Emily is a fantastic point gaurd. She had a ton of steals, she's super quick & a great dribbler. Together they were unstoppable. It was one of those proud moments for me & Kev. We had a great team & of course they had a ton of fun.
